Burnin' Tour

The Burnin' Tour was a concert tour organised to promote the album ''Burnin''' by Bob Marley & The Wailers (Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Joe Higgs).
The tour began in Homestead, Florida, in mid October 1973, and ended in Northampton, England, in late November. Bunny Wailer, who hadn't participated in the Catch a Fire Tour, was replaced by Joe Higgs. The first four shows of the second tour leg in England had been cancelled due to Tosh's illness. The tour ended in Northampton,at the Northampton College of further education. England; the rest of the tour was cancelled due to heavy snow.
During the tour, some crucial Bob Marley & The Wailers recordings had been made; the appearance at the Capitol Studios had been videotaped and has been used for several documentary movies. The appearance at Sausalito's Plant Studios had been broadcast live by KSAN and later officially released on the album ''Talkin' Blues''. Furthermore, the appearances at BBC's Top of the Pops and at Leeds University had been recorded as well and later were officially released on the second disc of the deluxe edition of the ''Burnin''' album.
==Setlist==
Unlike later tours, the setlist varied on almost every show, but there were some common features:
* all shows included one or two songs by Peter Tosh ("Stop That Train" and/or "Can't Blame The Youth"), played in the middle of the set.
* songs like "Rastaman Chant", "Duppy Conqueror", "Slave Driver", "Burnin' And Lootin'" or "Bend Down Low" were played in the first part of the set.
* songs like "Get Up, Stand Up", "Kinky Reggae", "Stir It Up" and "Lively Up Yourself" were played towards the end of the set or as encores.
* some shows featured also songs prior to 1973 ("Rude Boy", "Lively Up Yourself", "Bend Down Low").
